Rano Raindang River

Rano Raindang River is located in the north side of Leilem Village, Minahasa District, North Sulawesi. The flow direction of this river is from south to north into the Celebes Sea. Based on this flows direction, it is predicted that the source of the river is coming from Linow Lake.

We can find many hot springs around Rano Raindang river, and the temperature of the hot springs can reach up to 90oC and the pH is around 1-3. The Community of Leilem Raya Village, utilize the hot springs for thermal baths by mixing the water of the hotsprings with the water from the river which is far more colder and more neutral pH.
